Alison spent all the sunny days of her California youth indoors reading too many books, drawing too many animals, and dreaming of sweater season. After a brief notion of being an archeologist, she moved to Baltimore and received a BFA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art. She now lives in Brooklyn, NY and cultivates a sizable collection of houseplants. You can find her on the subway immersed in a book or staring at the floor, depending on how well she planned ahead. Her work is heavily influenced by quiet movies, sparse desert landscapes, and 15th century Persian manuscripts. undefined
