Andrej Dugin was born in 1955 in Moscow. He came relatively late - at 12 years old - to the Krasnopresnenskaya Art School in Moscow. Although the other students werefar ahead of him, he reached their skills through hard work. This was followed by years of study at the Academy of Fine Arts Surikoff Moscow. After his army service, he worked on various projects and was a teacher at the first art school he had visited. He taught his future wife, Olga Kotikova. In 1984 Andrej Dugin and Olga Dugina married. The collaboration with the publisher J. F. Schreiber, as the Esslinger Verlag was then called, began in 1989. The couple illustrated fairy tales for him. In 1992 Andrej Dugin and Olga Dugina cameto Stuttgart, where they still live today. Meanwhile, they are internationally known; for example, they received orders for the decoration of a Harry Potter film and for the illustration of a book by Madonna. As before, the Russian artist team is still also active for the Esslinger Verlag. (http://www.kuenstlerbund-stuttgart.de/index.php?ID=42) undefined
