Chebykin (Ph.D) is an academician of Ukrainian National Institute of Science and Arts, a National Artist of Ukraine, the rector of the Ukrainian National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture ( Central Academy of Fine Art ) , the winner of the T. Shevchenko National award of Ukraine. 1970 graduated from the National College of Art and Architecture Art Kiev (now Ukraine Central Academy of Fine Arts), after while he stayed in the College worked as teacher. 1973 joined the Ukrainian Artists Association; in 1979 obtained the title of the Soviet Union "meritorious art campaigner". 1980 Vice president of Fine Arts Acedemy. 1985 named professor. 1987 Chairman of Kyiv City Artists Association and the Deputy Secretary-General of the All-Union Artists Association. 1989 he was appointed dean of the Academy of Art, now it’s his fourth re-election. 1992 obtained the "People's artist" title. 1996 was elected as president of the Ukrainian National Academy of Arts, now it’s his third re-election. 1997 member of the National Committee of the national cultural heritage protection in Ukraine. Nov. 1998, number of highest Ukrainian National Committee of the art. Mr.Chebykin loves nature, respects for humanity. He’s specializes in prints, framed canvas painting, and a renowned master in arts and crafts.
