"Angie Hiesl, born in 1954, grew up in Venezuela, Perú and Germany, and has been living in Cologne since 1975. From the 1980s onwards, the director, choreographer, performance and installation artist has been presenting her interdisciplinary works, having been awarded numerous theatre and arts prizes since then. She is one of the first choreographers in Germany to exclusively develop site-specific choreographies. Her cooperation with Roland Kaiser began in 1997. Together, they create and realize their projects which were shown at a number of national and international festivals, often in cooperation with the Goethe-Institute. Senior citizens are perched on white chairs bolted to the façades of buildings, between 3 and 7 meters over the ground.
