I focus on this moment–what I am viewing, smelling, hearing and feeling. I am exposed to numerous stimuli. They come into my inner space and awaken the senses. That is the moment that I feel alive. When I need some comfort, there is nothing better than a hug. My body feels that I am communicating with people, rather than recognizing it through my mind. Sensory phenomena give me a sense of being “present” or “in the moment” and allow me to escape some anxiety about the future.
