Brocha Teichman paints the landscapes of Maryland, the Catskill Mountains, urban scenes of New York city, and the ancient alleyways of Israel, with her oils and (mostly) her palette knives. Her work is widely exhibited in galleries, trunk shows, and is in numerous private collections worldwide. Today she owns and operates the Art Studio of the Five Towns Inc, an educational art studio, and the Brocha Teichman Gallery, where she exhibits and sells her work.
Brocha is a plein air painter, a portraitist, an impressionist as well as a colorist. Her widely collected work is the unusual synthesis of this rich and varied background and always surprises.
Brocha is a member of the Salmagundi Club in Manhattan, and recently took the top prize (The Richard C. Pionk Award) at their auction, for her painting, 'Blowing Bubbles'. undefined
