Daniel Krall emerged from a small farm in Fontana, Pennsylvania, where his artistic roots were watered by comic books, animation, and big-sky colorways. After learning every line of country life, he moved to the city and earned a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, where he now teaches illustration. A veteran of sequential art, his work echoes the striking lines and Technicolor tints of French comics. Daniel’s formulations mix watercolor, gouache, acrylic and pixels, served straight or on the rocks. Freeze-ray focused and completely on his game, Daniel’s illustrations are fluid, expressive, and vivified by rich, bottomless color. undefined
