Born in 1945, I have been living in Venice and Verona. My father was a sculptor in marble and on my mother's side of the family there are many ancestors who were painters and sculptors. Notable among them was Angelo Pizzi, a particular favorite with Napoleon who, after conquering Venice in 1797, nominated him the Director of Fine Art Academy and contracted him to create the Napoleonic Aisle in piazza San Marco, in front of San Marco Cathedral in Venice.
My artworks are sold in many art galleries in the whole world, especially in USA, UK, Finland and India and are exhibited in some Arts Museums, such as the Museum of Fine Arts of Washington County and the Bass Museum of Art in Miami. I use the medium of black stone and/or clay with natural oxides, and the techniques of drawing used by the artists of the Italian Renaissance.
