Architects, Delano & Aldrich, worked closely with Cushing to provide exotic esthetics to the interiors they designed, including Cushing's own residence on E. 70th Street and Willard Straight's New York City apartment where these Oriental water fantasies on panels were painted for an oval dressing room.
