Josef Frank designed this luxurious pattern in September 1941 shortly before he moved to New York. Under Ekvatorn is one of the boldest linen cretonnes that Frank designed. With fantasy flowers that are almost recognizable, this is yet another example of Josef Frank’s reflections on reality versus dreams that is so typical of his designs.
