Karl is an American photographer from Brooklyn, NY who went to art school at Syracuse University, where he co-founded a literary/art zine with Lou Reed. Karl went to London and continued his studies for one year there. He later decided that painting was too solitary, picked up a camera and started shooting for editorial work.
He was inspired by pin-up and rock 'n roll, and became a part of the Glam scene in London. His album photography includes Roxy Music and Lou Reed. His work was exhibited at the Tate Modern/Liverpool in 2014 as part of the Glam! The Performance of Style show. Karl lives and works in Miami Beach, FL. undefined
