Mieczysław's daughter. She made her debut in 1896 in Łódź. In the years 1896-1900, 1905-1910 and 1913-1919 she was an actress of the Municipal Theater in Krakow. In the years 1900-1905 she performed in Lviv, and from 1919 in Warsaw. In the 1932-1933 season, she managed her own Teatr im. Żeromskiego in Warsaw. In the 1948-1949 season, she was an actress of the New Theater in Legnica.
She spent the last years of her life at the Actor's House in Skolimów. In 1978 her Memoirs appeared, and in 1984 Letters by Irena Solska.
In 1899, her portrait, currently in the collection of the National Museum in Krakow, was made by Leon Wyczółkowski.
