Oleg Turchin, Moldavian artist born in 1964 who paints realistic works with oil on canvas.
He studied at the children’s art school Sciusev under V.B. Bulba. In 1981, he began his studies at the Fine Arts College (I.E. Repin) under S.S. Babjuk and Proniaev. He later studied art at the Institute of Fine Arts under painting faculty leaders I.I. Serbinov and V.I. Kazakov.
Oleg brings a sharp eye and a flexible style that can encompass realism, photorealism and surrealism. His work is held in private collections in the USA, Italy, Holland, Turkey (Bora Collection), Ukraine, Greece, Russia, and in his home Republic of Moldova. He has shown in galleries in Greece and the Ukraine.
