"To celebrate 10 years of Shawati magazine, the Abu Dhabi-based publication asked me to create a series of illustrations focusing on the plethora of flora and fauna found on the Island of Sir Bani Yas. It is home to a massive nature reserve with an impressive conservationist history. It was set up by Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan in 1977 and the area is now known locally as Zayed's Island."
