Paul Grunwaldt (born January 18, 1891 in Berlin; died Germany, June 7, 1962 in Weingarten, Württemberg); German painter and representative of Berlin Expressionism. He was a member of the November group of artists.
Paul Grunwaldt went to the Royal Porzellanmanufaktur in Berlin (KPM) from 1905 to 1909. After his time as soldier (1914-1918) he entered the department for flower painting in the KPM. He studied at the Teaching Institute of the Kunstgewerbemuseum in Berlin and is now working as a freelance painter. He became a member of the November group, founded in December 1918, and took part in several exhibitions of this artist's association. A Berlin commemorative plaque for Grunwaldt was unveiled on 21 June 1989 at Raschdorffstraße 82 in Reinickendorf.
Paul Grunwaldt left behind an extensive artistic work. His wife, who died in 1983, wanted the pictures of his hometown to be given to the people. Large parts of the artistic estate were handed over to the district of Reinickendorf.
