"Art does not reproduce what is visible; it makes things visible." - Paul Klee
Swiss / German Expressionist painter, Paul Klee (1879 - 1940), one of the most inventive artists of the 20th century, valued the art of children. He admired their directness and innocence--and you can see the influence in his work. Klee taught at the Bauhaus from 1921 to 1931. But in 1933 he began experiencing the symptoms of schleroderma, a painful, degenerative autoimmune disease. (http://pinkpagodastudio.blogspot.nl/2014/02/more-paul-klee.html) undefined
