“A new naturalism?” Yes, but it is something much more direct, that implicates people far more in the objective, is more immediate – and does not merely address visual pleasure.
All things rendered tangible as things - and as objects arrayed both well away from one another and alongside one another – their harmonies will lie in their experience of the cosmic, unifying the most extreme oppositions. We experience each form more intently when it is set against another entirely different form. Even a movement is made more evident when it is interrupted.
