"My name is Thijme Termaat
(pronounced 'tie-muh' 'ter-maat').

After high school, I decided to apply for the Design Academy Eindhoven, where I was accepted to start a 4-year study. In the 6 months I spent on the academy, I started painting. It was something I had not seriously tried before. Although I was technically at level one, it took me just 3 paintings to know for sure that this was all that I wanted to do, so I quit my education at the academy, moved back home and started to paint..."
