"Tracy Hamer graduated from Syracuse University, receiving a BFA in Painting. She went on to study painting and printmaking in Florence, Italy. After living in NYC and traveling extensively around South East Asia, she eventually settled into her current home in Bali, Indonesia.Since living in Asia, Tracy has exhibited at Biasa Art Space, Randelli Gallery, and Kebath Studio in Seminyak; Koong Gallery in Jakarta; Pranoto’s Gallery, Krane Gallery and Gaya Fusion of Senses in Ubud, and Carpe Diem Gallery in Bangkok.
Positive Negative Visual Gallery is thrilled to announce the addition of Tracy Hamer to it’s roster of artists. Tracy's art is mostly figurative, isolating specific aspects of the human figure, exploring themes of isolation, anonymity and depersonalization. Her most recent work plays with images from the past, borrowed and manipulated images from old magazine ads and movie posters, and redefining things through the use of text." https://www.facebook.com/pngallery undefined
