Besides being first published in the August 1928 issue of the San Franciscan, Brett's print of the Mt. Wilson Observatory support structure was also featured in the Fourteenth Annual International Salon of the Camera Pictorialists of Los Angeles alongside soon-to-be fellow Group f.64 members including his father, Willard Van Dyke and Imogen Cunningham in 1931.
