Artwork Title: Robin's Egg Blue

Robin's Egg Blue

Monica Amneus

Robin's Egg Blue - named (quite obviously) after the color of the American Robin's eggs. The blue/green color acts as a sort of protection from the sun's ultra-violet rays. Tiffany and Co. trademarked a medium-light version of this color in 1857 and uses it exclusively in all of their promotional materials. The Pantone number is 1857, after the year Tiffany and Co. was founded.
