She tells him not to come to her back room, and soon money starts appearing. But the wife begins falling ill, refusing to talk to her husband about it. Finally, one night, the husband peeks in on her, and realizes she is a crane, pulling out her feathers and selling them for money. She catches him, and heart broken at his betrayal, leaves forever. But who betrayed whom first?
